The goals of the Individual Differences and Health Lab are (a) to develop, test, and disseminate a Generalized Interpersonal Theory of Personality and Psychopathology, and (b) to study the assessment, prevention, and treatment of behavioral risks for physical illness (e.g., smoking, sexual risk-taking). The activities of the lab have been supported in part by grants from the National Institute on Drug Abuse; the California Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program; and the University of Leuven, Belgium.
