PEER EDITING OF RESEARCH PAPERS

During the peer editing sessions, students will trade rough drafts of their research papers with other students, who will read them and make comments. The rough drafts should be at least ten pages long, double-spaced, in APA style. It may be helpful for students to bring several copies of their paper so that their peers can make comments in the margins. Some grammatical hints are available on the web. A valuable resource, even for good writers, is Strunk's Elements of Style. Further writing advice is also available.
